eGuide was established in 2003 in Noosa Quuensland, initially starting as a website offering information about various travel destinations strating with NoosaeGuide.,com. We generated revenue through affiliate partnerships with companies like Booking.com and Viator.

In 2012, facing increased competition in the finraiton space , we pivoted our business model. We purchased Hawthorn Lodge in Tasmania, which became the base for creating tours and packages for the Overland Track. This strategic move allowed us to focus on providing unique travel experiences in Tasmania.

We successfully operated Hawthorn Lodge until 2020, when it was sold in December.

In 2021, we relocated our operations to Sheffield, Tasmania. This location brought us closer to Cradle Mountain, allowing us to offer even better access and services for travelers exploring this iconic destination. Today, eGuide continues to be a leading provider of exceptional tours and shore excursions in Tasmania, known for our commitment to quality and personalized service.
